The Mentor/Driver is essential to the success of the MileUp program and will transport youth to and from the program site(s) in the Philadelphia area in their personal vehicle on Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. The Mentor/Driver is encouraged to participate in running practices with students, however, prior running experience is not needed! The Mentor/Driver works together with a team of Youth Advocates who provide ongoing case management to youth, and discusses any student concerns or needs for additional support with youth advocates. The program season runs from August to November, and the Mentor/Driver is expected to commit to the full season.
